I figured I'll give some pub to my orienteering club's upcoming event, a course set on KU's campus. This will be a pretty fun introduction to the sport of orienteering, if you've ever been curious.
When: December 2nd, 2006. Registration at 12pm.
Where: Registration is in the 4th floor of the Kansas Union. Courses start near the Union and go all over main campus.
What: There will be both beginner and advanced courses. The advanced one is about 2.5 miles long. Normally, I don't recommend advanced courses to first-timers, but since it's on KU's campus, you guys are pretty familiar with the area. There will be awards for the fastest-finishing KU students, too.
Who: Some of your fellow crumpeters will be participating! Peter, Dan, and (I think?) Madelaine should be there!
Cost: $10/$12.
Weather: It could be cold and snowy... but, hey, that's everyone's favorite crumpets weather!
