I'm pretty sure that there is a physics principle to describe what is happening to the ball. I have NO idea what that principle is!

And suddenly a rip in the space-time continuum opened up on the crumpets field. The crumpet (and parts of John) are now in the future, saving us from most certain doom.

John and the unknown owner of a floating hand create a chain as he reaches out to try to save Heather from sinking into the quickgrass.

In response to Chell - Is there any reason it didn't save us from all certain doom? I'm not a big fan of just being saved from most certain doom.
